Frive. (That's Friday Five when I'm this tired...)

1. After a grand total of three hours of sleep, here is what my day has entailed so far: no shower (ew.), a wreck that caused us to be 15 minutes late for school (glad it wasn't us, hope everybody was okay), a call from day care to inquire about a mystery bruise on Avery's nose (I promise we don't abuse our child), reading a blog that basically called women who had induced labors and epidurals non-Christians (oops), bacon and cake for breakfast (heart attack and sugar rush anyone?), and the discovery that I am 62 books short of the novel we're starting on Monday. It's only 10:15 am.

2. Check out this blog: Stuff Christians Like. I can't believe it took me so long to find it. The icing on the cake? Mentions of Caedmon's Call and Derek Webb by today's guest blogger. Win.

3. This week has been so busy that I missed both Glee and The Office. And today I'm too tired to care.

4. Avery is eating lots of table food. I love this. I love her. And that handsome man next to her.

5. The Weekend Preview: In-laws in town, Ranger game tonight, Kendra's wedding shower in the morning, all-day scrapbooking, Sunday at home, breathe.

This post is linked up with Company Girl Coffee.

Sounds like a great weekend even if today is a bit rocky! Hopefully you can fit in a little rest in there.

As for the induced/epidural thing...I have been induced four times. I have had four epidurals. I am a christian. Whoever wrote that blog needs to go check their heart and listen to the words of James 1... Be slow to speak!

I loved me my epidural. I'm sorry about that blog you read. Dustin and I feel strongly that people feel too strongly (ha!) about birth control, homeschool, natural birth and being organic... at least in Louisville anyway! We decided even if we have "strong" opinions about some of these things, we're going to have to figure out how to talk about them respectfully and carefully or shut our mouths! They simply aren't ultimate, clear, gospel issues...
I rest my case. :)

1. I hate rushing so if we're late, we're late. Don't tell us what blog talked about the induced labors/epidurals...we might have something to say... bacon, yum, cake, yum.

2. Haven't listend to Caedmon's Call in a long time.

3. I'm catching up on a show right now. =p

4. We're all done with "baby" food over here!!! Hooray!

5. Have a wonderful weekend!

I'd hate to think that my epidural would send me to hell. It was heavenly at the time.

I hope you have a RESTFUL weekend!

Stuff Christians Like is amazing! I just came across it recently. I think another Company Girl referred to the "Comma of Grace" post. Have you read that one?

Glad your Friday is over and hope you are having a much better Saturday!
Interesting blog post you were reading...it's always interesting to me how many people are so willing to cram their views down other folks throats. Wonder what scripture backs up the you aren't a christian if you've had an epidural stance??
Have great weekend!
